AMEXINC's mission is:
 

1. To solve, through its actions, the problems regarding the lack of knowledge in colour application, in the different fields in which the human being develops (social, cultural, aesthetic, health, language, etc.).


2. To spread and promote a colour culture, understood as the sharing of information and experiences generated in the various disciplines that handle this subject.

   AMEXINC's objectives are:
 

1. Fulfill the needs existing in Mexico because of the lack of organizations that assemble colour researchers, students and users.


2. Contribute to a better colour application in the Mexican environment.


3. Promote, coordinate and strengthen colour research, in a multidisciplinary environment to increase the colour knowledge from different angles.


4. Represent Mexico at international organizations that study color.


5. Integrate all the Mexican color researchers (those who have published, worked or made any colour-related research) to create relations with various associations, institutions and corporations.


6. Promover y difundir las investigaciones, obras, trabajos, eventos, reconocimientos y participaciones de los agremiados en otros organismos similares en el ámbito internacional.


7. Organize academic and social meetings to promote colour researches.


8. Give advice to members and organizations who need it in colour-related subjects.


9. To organize and promote expositions and other artistic manifestations that use colour as a main component.
